Fingerprint Room Japan work closely with The Fingerprint Room Inc. located in Canada, which is an accredited agency by Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and affiliated with the FBI. Our staff are highly experienced and knowledgeable in conducting digital fingerprinting (Live Scan) and background check certificate using FBI approved program and RCMP approved equipment. Currently we are the only agency, able to offer both fingerprinting and background check services in Japan.
Acquiring fingerprints in Japan can be a difficult task as Japanese police cannot fingerprint non-residents and will not sign or stamp the fingerprint form, which may render the form inadmissible for a background check application. Fingerprint Room Japan offers the most advanced digital fingerprinting on both Canadian RCMP C216 form and FBI FD258 form for all clients regardless of their residency and will certify the fingerprint form with our endorsement. The FBI fingerprint form is recognized worldwide and can be submitted for background check for other countries’ background checks.
At Fingerprint Room Japan, we are the first to offer both fingerprinting service and background check certificate/non-criminal record check for Canada and United States of America. We conduct our record searches through our access to FBI approved program and RCMP accredited server, connected directly to the RCMP National database. The average turnaround time for a FBI background check can be as fast as few hours and RCMP 5 business days. You may be required to submit your FBI or RCMP certificate if you have lived in the country for more than 6 months and applying for employment, immigration, citizenship, visa, adoption, and volunteer.
