Fingerprinting Services in Osaka Japan
What is the difference between ink fingerprinting and digital fingerprinting?
Digital fingerprinting is the most advanced fingerprinting technology which requires an approved digital live scan device to capture your fingerprints electronically. As opposed to the traditional ink fingerprinting, digital fingerprinting can prevent ink smudges and is a more accurate fingerprinting method. All fingerprint service includes a certification and will be produced onto RCMP C216 form or FBI FD258 card by FBI and RCMP approved printer. The traditional ink fingerprinting service is also available at our office for special circumstances such as State Bar of California, California Board of Registered Nurses, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) checks.
What is a criminal background check certificate and who needs this?
Those applying for immigration, citizenship, permanent residency application, or visa, such as Fiance vis, K1 visa, work visa, study permit, working holiday visa, will be required to submit fingerprints for a non-criminal record check/police certificate from countries they have visited or lived for more than a total of six months. Typically to apply for a background check from the country, applicants must have their fingerprints taken at their current country and apply from overseas.
What are the benefits of applying with Fingerprint Room Japan?
There are a few fingerprinting agencies that offers certified fingerprint services in Japan. However, currently we are the only agency that will offer both fingerprinting and background check services, along with authentication and apostille service. Normally to apply for a background check from Japan, fingerprints must be taken, notarized then mailed to the police or an accredited fingerprint agency. With our system in Japan, we can take digital fingerprints and send them to respective legal agencies, such as the FBI, to obtain the background check certificate.
